The 7-day Lemosho Route is the perfect balance of breathtaking scenery and excellent acclimatization. Starting in the remote western rainforests, you will slowly make your way across the entire Shira Plateau before joining the southern circuit. By stretching the first leg of the journey, your body has much more time to adapt to the altitude, significantly increasing your chances of a successful and enjoyable summit.

Shira 2 to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
You will hike high into the alpine desert to have lunch at the Lava Tower, then descend into the Barranco Valley. This 'climb high, sleep low' profile is vital for summit success.
